I made a stop at our local thrift store last week looking for a couple of different things we were in need of. Mainly a twin bed frame and a nightstand for my daughter. Unfortunately, on this day, I struck out on both of those. But don’t you worry! I definitely didn’t come come home empty-handed! (Which I RARELY do from ANY thrift store!) I brought home this gorgeous, BIG basket with wooden handles and several different sized decorative glass bottles! At the MOMENT I have no idea what I’m going to do with them….but again, don’t you worry, I will find something! :-) This little story illustrates the “THING” I have for decorative baskets and bottles! There’s just something about them….especially when you put them together. They are such a lovely combination. So when I discovered these two websites, needless to say, I just HAD to share! My ONE Good Thing for today is TWO good source websites! bottles. This is reportedly where Martha gets all her bottles, jars, etc. for all her wonderful projects! SpecialtyBottle.com has about every conceivable bottle you could ever need! Here are a few of my favorites!
And here a couple of cute ideas from MarthaStewartWeddings.comusing some of the other bottles they sell.
Delicious (and DIY) Wedding Favors Raspberry Vodka Mixing these totable potables is as easy as whipping up fruit-infused booze, pouring it into bottles, and tying on a recipe for a Rasmopolitan cocktail.
BasketLady.com has pretty much every conceivable shape, size and color of basket you could dream of!

Hi Jillee,
LOVE your Blog!!!
Pssssst….that link to “TheBasketLady.com” doesn’t work. But “basket lady.com” does!
You are great!
I love baskets too. I buy them at thrift stores and yard sales. I give all natureal/cheap ones to my Cockatoo to chew up (about 3 a week) and use many for storage around the house. I checked out Basketlady.com, but her prices were just a little high for my budget, so will continue to shop the thrift stores. Love your blog. Take care.
I love baskets and have only paid full price for a few. I also love decorative glass jars!! I’m using both to make nice gifts for my sons’ teachers!
