Pinspinners! A fun and easy paper craft!

I love when I come across both a GOOD IDEA to share and a GOOD WEBSITE all in one! It’s two, two, TWO “good things” in one!  (Anyone else remember that commercial? I know…I’m dating myself.)

Anyway, these darling little pinwheels (which Jenny of All Sorts calls Pinspinners!) immediately caught my eye!  They are so bright and colorful and could be used in a variety of ways!

Party favor? Table decoration? Kid entertainer?

All you  need is some cute scrapbook paper, a pin, and a pencil (w/ eraser)!

She even provides you with a free pattern to download (for personal use) and print out!

Head on over to All Sorts for the detailed tutorial. Once you have done that….be sure and click around the rest of the site!  She has the CUTEST STUFF!

Check out this VIRTUAL PAPER DOLL!  Your little girl will do NUTS playing with this thing.  (Heck! *I* didn’t want to stop playing with it!)

Jenny made these Pinspinners as a decoration for her Easter table. She put them on her patio tables, arranging them in ice cream sundae glasses filled with colored buttons! Can’t you just see it!? Such a cute idea!

Would work great for a birthday party too!  Or as a birthday party favor!

And since we just finished “back-to-school” school supply shopping…I have a plethora of pencils I can use!  Just have to hunt down some pins. :-)

Have a pin-spinnery day!

And that’s today’s….

These would be great and inexpensive for holiday parties. Party supplies can be so pricey. I am thinking patriotic patterns. Would be great for kids to bring to a parade. Wonder if vellum would work.
