I’m “Scentsy”-ing A Fabulous Giveaway!

I am sure a lot of you have heard of Scentsy before.  A LOT of you have probably even experienced the “Scentsy craze”.  After all…..in the last eight years, Scentsy has generated more than $1 billion in revenue!  That’s a lot of candles!!!

Well, they’re not EXACTLY candles….technically they are “a safe, wickless alternative to scented candles”.  Which basically means they are scented wax that you melt LIKE a scented candle…but there is no open flame involved. Confused? Well, frankly, I was too UNTIL I actually got one in my hands and experienced what all the hype was about!  It’s really quite ingenious!  Not to mention VERY nice smelling! :-)

So, for those of us who are visual learners…this is how this whole Scentsy thing works.

First you need one of their ceramic warmers (which by the way are quite chic!  I browsed through their entire catalogue and didn’t find ONE kitschy thing!)

This is the one I was sent and I just love it the verdigris look to it!  Pretty isn’t it?

 And how gorgeous is THIS one from their Silhouette Collection???  Super chic.

 OK….now that you have your super chic ceramic warmer…this is how it works.

The warmer comes with a low-watt light bulb that melts the Scentsy wax, and starts to infuse your home with a lovely scent of your choosing. And you can afford to be choosy with over 80 different scents to choose FROM.

And that’s it. No flame, no smoke, no soot.  Just good scents…which makes good sense. :-)

But, that’s not even the COOLEST part. Get this…if you feel like changing the scent…you just poor the melted wax BACK into the container it came out of, let it cool, and store it until you’re ready to use it again! I just think that is so crazy cool!

Sara, the Scentsy lady, sent me a BUNCH of different scents to try. I was able to try all three of my top 3 favorites….Wishing Well, Cerise, and White Tea & Cactus…using the same warmer.

 

                   
After I was done with one, I just poured it back into its little cartridge thingy and within minutes it had hardened again, ready to be stored til next time I have a hankering for that scent. :-)

Later in the day, when it was getting darker outside, I put my new prized decor possession on a shelf in our entertainment center. Doesn’t it look nice there??  I just love it.  Perfect spot.

    Oooh! I love Scentsy! Sadly, it is one addition I have not made to my home yet and I have no excuses as to why not!

    I really like the twinkle mid size warmer with the newborn nursery scentsy bar. I would put it in my baby girls room to make her room smell just like her, a brand new baby, and she’s my little twinkle star. :-)

    I checked out the site–the Jane warmer is so pretty; it has a silhouette thing going on–and I’d definitely choose the lush gardenia scent. :). Thanks for the opportunity!

    There are way too many to choose from. I do like the Luna scent though. I had the opportunity to smell the samples last year and they have a lot that I love. Also the blackberry vanilla, i believe it is. Ahhhh heaven :)

    Love Scentsy and have several of the burners. My grandchildren love the Moccadoodle scent They always give give me that “mmmmmmm” sound when they enter my kitchen!
