Thanksgiving is a few short days away and, as usual, I’m stunned how quickly it has snuck up on me!
With all the work that goes into planning and preparing our Thanksgiving meal, I still want the table to look fun and festive but don’t really want to spend a lot of time on a centerpiece. (I’m betting you don’t either.) So today I’m sharing a few quick and easy ideas to spruce up our Thanksgiving table.
I was able to find some really great items on sale and put together this autumn-inspired centerpiece really quickly! I love how it turned out and will definitely be leaving it on the table throughout the holidays! :-)
I wanted to add a festive touch, so I painted about a third of them with this gold craft paint. It just took a couple of layers, and they look so classy!
Once the paint had dried, I just placed the fruit into the bowl. You could use any size of container – here are a few that I just love, although you can probably find something around the house!
I decided to add some cinnamon sticks to the bowl, too, and I’m so glad that I did! They look rustic/woodsy, and they smell so good. :-)
This centerpiece couldn’t have been easier to make, and it looks so good! It’s also short enough that everyone can see each other and pass dishes around the table. :-) I put it on top of a wooden leaf cutout that I found in the clearance section at Target – they make a fun decoration without taking up any extra space!
