Jillee,
I liked your name first. Then I saw all the neat stuff that you have been posting, so today I finally subscribed. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next! It will be fun and interesting, I know.

I really enjoyed reading the ingredients for your homemade products!
JILLEE
You have inspired me! I made my own laundry detergent. It works great in my HE washing machine. Thanks for all your research! I’m a mother of 5 (3 boys & 2 girls) ages 12 – 4! Its nice to go to your cite and find inspiration! And of course ways to save money!
Wow! Only 3 comments on this page and TWO are from Jill’s! lol. How cool is that? Thanks Jill & Jill and Sandy. :-) So glad you like the website! Hope you keep coming back!
Hey!!! That’s me up there:0) Thank you for sharing!!!!!!
Hey Jillee,
It’s been a while since I’ve had time to check out your site … have missed it, but it’s been for good cause – a friend of mine was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I decided to run a marathon in her honor. Joined Team in Training and am 11 weeks in and loving it. Best decision I’ve made in years. I was looking for your sweet deals and the last post I can find is for July 4th … have I missed something or are you no longer posting sweet deals?
Alex
I received email today from regarding making your own clothes detergent, but with no directions.
I realized we were getting close to the end of the first batch…so I decided to make some more.
This time I followed a slightly different recipe I found online at Why Not Sew?
1 bar of soap (any kind you want)
1 cup of Borax
1 cup of washing soda
a big pot ( that holds more than 2 gallons)
a grater
a funnel
a long spoon
2 empty gallon jugs/containers
The main difference is that it makes a more manageable 2 gallons (instead of 5 gallons) and you can make it in one big pot on the stove, instead of having to use a 5 gallon bucket.
Here are the two gallons I made today.
Might you share the directions? I also emailed the website where you got the recipe in hopes that they would give me directions as to how I make the detergent.
I added the cheap kind of Oxyclean, found in the Dollar Stores, and baking soda, one cup each, and I have never had such clean clothes!
Dear Jillee
I am mostly on my mobile fone, and it is on facebook on Lizzie’s Tips that I saw how nice are your articles.
Pleace feel free to post your daily post to my email address, sorayaesquire@gmail.com.
Thank you.
Do you have anything to get rid of bed bugs…
Love love love your site! I make your washing powers and dishwashing for dishwasher too. I tried the yellow under arm pit cleaner. Got it out! Even got out a stain from a kids white shirt. Thanks so much for your help. Just wanted to know if you have something to get out food stain don’t really know what my husband gets on him. After it is was it looks like a darker color that the shirt this one is red. It kinda looks like a grease stain to me. Thanks, Louise
Crickets!
I have a problem with crickets. I live in an apt. Please tell me what to do!
Thanks
Sandra
