Is it just me, or is choosing stocking stuffers harder than choosing bigger gifts? Since my kids are older, I can usually get away with giving them a bunch of treats in their stockings, as well as a few store-bought necessities (like hair ties, shaving razors, and bath products.) I always try to add one or two meaningful gifts in their stockings though, and this year I thought that something handmade would be the perfect fit.
If you’ve seen any of my previous Simple Handmade Gifts posts, then you probably already know how much I love a good handmade gift. :-) Anyone can appreciate the time and effort it takes to make a gift, rather than buying one at the store. So I started compiling ideas for handmade stocking stuffers, and I ended up finding a lot of really cute projects! If you’re looking for some stocking stuffer inspiration, then you came to the right place!

First I’ll show you how to make some simple no-slip socks, perfect for wearing around the house to keep your toes warm. Keep scrolling after the project for nine more genius stocking stuffer ideas from around the web!
DIY No-Slip Socks
Cut two pieces of cardboard or paperboard into small rectangles (small enough to fit inside a sock).
Slide one piece of cardboard inside each sock to create a flat surface to paint on. The cardboard will also keep the paint from bleeding through to the other side of the sock.
Use your puffy paints to paint a design on the bottom of the socks.
Let the paint dry for the time recommended on the bottle.
Wrap them up for to give as a gift, or pull them on and keep them for yourself! ;-)
