Homemade All-Natural Bubble Bath

Homemade Bubble Bath

I have always been a big fan of bubble baths. Taking a bubble bath is one of the easiest ways to feel relaxed and rejuvenated, without even needing to leave the house! So when I came across this recipe for an all-natural homemade bubble bath, I immediately had to give it a try! Not only does it take seconds to put together, but you can also customize the scent to your liking by adding your favorite essential oils!

Homemade Bubble Bath

1/2 cup liquid castile soap
1 egg white
1 Tbsp raw honey
10-20 drops of essential oils

Homemade Bubble Bath

Start by adding a 1/2 cup of liquid castile soap to a jar or container. Castile soap is a gentle and versatile natural cleanser.

Crack an egg, separate the whites from the yolk, and add the egg white to the soap. (If you’re wondering why this recipe calls for an egg white, it’s because it helps the bubbles last longer! Trust me on this.)

Add one tablespoon of honey.

And finally, add your essential oils. You can choose your oil(s) based on scent or skin benefits. If you want both, Lavender is a no brainer! A lavender-scented bubble bath will help relax your mind, and also do wonders for your skin!

Stir the ingredients to combine. Give the container a good shake before adding to your bath. And since this mixture contains egg whites, keep any extras in a sealed container in the fridge, and it’ll keep for a week or two.

With this recipe, you’re only a minute or two away from a blissful soak, so go ahead and treat yourself! :-)

  • I was wondering if we could use the dust egg white, the kind we use for frosting? I’m just asking because of the yuck factor. Although, I do know that egg white is super good for the skin and especially hair, I don’t know if I can psychologically bring myself to simmer in it….
