This post is sponsored by Dollar Shave Club. As always, all opinions and ideas are entirely my own.
It seems like every year I struggle to find a good Father’s Day gift for my husband. I often consider getting him something related to fishing or barbecue (two of his favorite hobbies), but he’s pretty picky when it comes to “gear.” So if I want to get him something he’ll actually use, I usually have to ask him directly. And while I often do just that Christmas and birthday gifts, I do like to be able to surprise him every once in a while!
For the past week or so, I’ve surfed the web halfheartedly in the hope that I would eventually come across a good gift idea. And I’m pleased to report that I did, in the form of some great grooming products from Dollar Shave Club! I knew that Dollar Shave Club sold razors and cartridges, but I only just learned that they sell all kinds of men’s grooming products too! And since Dave rarely ventures outside his comfort zone when it comes to grooming, I thought that getting him some new products would make an excellent Father’s Day gift!

Today I’ll be telling you all about the gifts I put together for him, in case you also find yourself in need of a good gift idea for your husband, father, or son this Father’s Day. :-) Because Dollar Shave Club made it quick and easy to put together a gift of quality grooming products that I know any guy would love to get!
Giving The Gift Of A Smooth Shave For Father’s Day
After perusing the many excellent options at Dollar Shave Club, here’s what I ended up picking out for Dave’s Father’s Day gift:
◆ Mandatory Prep Scrub
Facial scrubs aren’t just for us ladies! This pre-shave scrub helps exfoliate dead skin cells, preparing skin and facial hair for a super close shave. It also helps release ingrown hairs and prevents new ones from forming post-shave. The natural exfoliants in this scrub will leave his skin feeling soft and looking fresh!
◆ Easy Shave Butter
Move over shaving cream! This gentle shaving butter helps soften facial hair and reduce razor bumps for a smoother shave. It also goes on clear, which has me seriously considering stealing it for myself. ;-) (Wouldn’t it be nice to actually be able to see what you’re doing while you shave?)
◆ Disappearing Post-Shave Dew
This nourishing hydrator is a soothing treat for just-shaved skin. It has skin-friendly ingredients like aloe vera, cucumber water, and oat extract, and it doesn’t burn like other post-shave products. It’s lightweight and absorbs instantly, with no greasy residue or overpowering fragrance!
◆ The Executive Razor & Cartridges
The Executive razor has six blades for a closer-than-close shave. And being part of Dollar Shave Club means he’ll never have to use a dull razor, because he’ll get new cartridges shipped right to our door!
If you’d rather not pick and choose individual items like I did, don’t despair, because Dollar Shave Club also offers four great gift sets! These sets are full of great grooming products that the man in your life is sure to love, from soaps and shampoos to lotions and toothpaste. Getting a thoughtful Father’s Day gift has never been easier! :-)
