Come for the easy, crowd-pleasing dinner recipe, stay for the secret to making amazing hard taco shells at home!
You can use store-bought hard taco shells in this recipe, but I think homemade ones really add something special to this recipe. These tacos are easy to make
Take your corn tortillas & a damp cloth or paper towel. Wrap 6 of your tortillas in the damp cloth & put them in the microwave for 30 seconds
Lay the tortillas out on a sheet tray, then coat both sides of each tortilla with cooking spray.
Next, carefully drape each tortilla over two bars of your oven rack. Bake the tortillas at 375°F for about 7-10 mins, or until crispy & golden-brown.
Ingredients – ground beef – refried bean – tomato sauce – homemade taco seasoning
Brown the ground beef, then drain off any fat. Stir the refried beans, tomato sauce & seasoning into the browned beef.
Use your hair dryer to separate meat that got stuck together in the freezer. Blow the warm air on them just long enough to get them unstuck.
When the pan is full, sprinkle the top with a nice layer of shredded cheese.
Put the pan in your oven, and bake at 400°F for 10-12 minutes. Top with your taco fixings of choice & serve!
