Croissant Waffles

Merging croissants with other traditional pastries has been all the rage lately. You've probably heard of "cronuts" (croissant + donut,) but these delicious croissant waffles are crispy on the outside and supremely light and flaky on the inside!

Ingredients:

  • Box of standard frozen puff pastry sheets
  • Your choice of toppings raspberries, chocolate chips, powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Defrost the puff pastry and unfold one of the sheets.
  2. Separate the sheet into three pieces.
  3. Cut the sheets into small enough pieces to fit in your waffle maker.
  4. Lay the pastry in a hot waffle maker.
  5. For filled waffles, lay half of your dough on the waffle maker. Add your desired fillings. Then fold the other half of the dough over the top of the filling.
  6. Cook the pastry until it turns golden brown.

Top with raspberries, chocolate chips and a little dash of powdered sugar.
