Make Your Own Homemade "Gatorade"

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • water

Instructions:

  1. Add 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon salt (kosher or sea salt) to 1/2 cup HOT water.
  2. Stir until completely dissolved.
  3. Add 1/2 cup orange juice and 1 Tablespoon lemon juice to the sugar/salt water.
  4. Add a few ice cubes to each bottle, pour half of juice mixture into each bottle, then fill the rest of the way with cold water.
  5. Give the bottles a shake to allow the ice cubes to cool down the warm water.
