  • 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 pinch Salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water or chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce

  1. Season the chicken thighs well with salt, pepper, and the garlic powder. Set aside.
  2. Heat a little bit of cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat on your stovetop. Sear the chicken thighs on both sides, and continue to cook until done (about 5-6 minutes per side).
  3. While the chicken is cooking, mix the honey, water, vinegar, and soy sauce together in a small bowl and set aside.
  4. When the chicken is done, add the crushed garlic to the pan and cook for about 30 seconds, until the garlic is fragrant.
  5. Next, pour the liquid mixture from the bowl into the pan. Cook the liquid and chicken together until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Garnish with green onions if desired, and serve warm. I like to spoon the chicken and sauce on top of rice, but you could put it over veggies, pasta, or even a salad.
