  • 1 lb penne pasta
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. mustard powder
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup thick-cut ham chopped
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley chopped

  • Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain the cooked pasta and set aside.
  • Melt the butter in a Dutch/French oven over medium heat. Add the garlic to the pan and cook for about 2 minutes, until fragrant.
  • Sprinkle the flour into the skillet and cook for 2 more minutes, until the mixture is golden brown. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, and bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add the mustard powder. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook until slightly thickened, about 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove the pot from heat and stir in the cooked pasta, chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan over the top.
  • Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 13-15 minutes. Broil for an extra 2-3 minutes for a golden-brown finish. Garnish with parsley, and serve.
