ASHLEY'S AMAZING CORNBREAD
This sweet, cake-like cornbread is sure to be the star side dish at any backyard barbecue!

- 1 cup cornmeal
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup oil
- 6 tbsp butter melted
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 1/2 cups milk
In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, and add the oil, butter, eggs, and milk.
Stir just until combined.
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13” baking pan.
Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.
