Crockpot Applesauce Recipe

When apples are abundant, nothing will make your house smell better than cooking a batch of homemade applesauce! Just a few hours in the crockpot transforms fresh, crisp apples into aromatic, cinnamon-spiced applesauce you'll want to eat all day long.

Equipment

  • Apple corer/peeler/slicer

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Peel, core, and slice the apples.
    Apple is being pealed and sliced into spiral shape in the instrument.
  • Place the sliced apples in your crockpot with the cinnamon and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.

  • Cook on high heat for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Mash the applesauce, if desired, then transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate.
