One-Pan Breakfast Sandwich Recipe (TikTok Egg Sandwich)

Equipment

  • Cooking spray
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 slices cheese optional
  • cooked breakfast meat optional

Instructions

  • Heat a large nonstick pan over medium-low heat and spray with cooking spray.
  • Beat the eggs, season with salt and pepper, then pour them evenly across the surface of the pan.
  • Immediately place a slice of bread in the egg mixture, then flip it over. Repeat with the second slice.
  • One the eggs are just barely set (a minute or so), use a spatula to flip the eggs and both slices of bread over.
  • Place your cheese and meat on one of the pieces of bread, then flip the overhanging bits of egg onto the bread too.
  • Flip one piece of bread onto the other. (The piece without toppings will be easier to flip!)
  • Continue cooking until both sides of the sandwich are browned and the cheese is melted.
