Today’s visit to the OGT archives was inspired by the beautiful fall weather we are experiencing here lately. Makes me think of apples, which in turn makes me think of apple cider. While I’m a fan of HOT apple cider, I’m especially fond of SPARKLING apple cider. So much so that when my son got married, we served it at an Open House in his and his wife Kaitlyn’s honor.
This is our super simple DIY version of the pricey bottled stuff…….
Homemade Sparkling Apple Juice
- 2 cans apple juice concentrate, thawed
- 2 liter bottle club soda
Mix the apple juice concentrate and club soda together and serve! (I also added ice and a few sliced apples to enhance the pretty factor.)
Were you able to catch all of that? Do you need me to repeat it? ;-)
It was SO good! I really didn’t hold out too much hope that it could compare with the “real” thing…but honestly, I think I liked it BETTER than Martinelli’s. And it was SO pretty in the beverage dispensers I picked up on sale this week.
I do love a S I M P L E idea that is such a crowd-pleaser. Give it a try at your next gathering…and I can practically guarantee a happy crowd. :-)
