What’s your favorite dip recipe?
Walmart just came out with fire roasted salsa. It comes in a can and is located in the canned veggies section of the grocery store, where the tomato products are. I now use it as a base for my food processor salsa. And if you like your salsa smoky like I do, consider adding in a couple of drops of liquid smoke. I like to leave my finished salsa in the fridge for at least 24 hours to let all the flavors meld. It also helps take away the “tinny” flavor that canned tomatoes sometime have.

CORN SALAD:
2 cans DRAINED Mexican corn (or also used Del Monte Southwestern)
Up to 1/2 cup mayonnaise (must be mayonnaise)
** Up to 1 bag Chili Cheese Fritos (crushed – does not have to be fine)
You mix the drained corn and mayonnaise beforehand, but do not add the Fritos until just before you serve.

I rinsed off the salt and dried them well. My husband cooked them out on the grill. Oh my goodness was i eating a filet mignon..no, but the taste and ease of cutting were out of this world. Thank you thank you ..I have been reading your daily ideas. Have a happy holiday season
A staple in my hone is hummus. We eat it with carrots & other veggies as well as w/tortilla chips. I just throw 3 cups cooked garbanzo beans, 6 Tbs tahini, 3 medium cloves garlic, 6 Tbs. lemon juice, salt & a cayenne pepper to taste in the Cuisinart and puree it to smooth, thick dip. If it’s too thick, a little water can be added to thin it out. Ready to enjoy in no time.

They are chopped onions that have been dehydrated. They re-hydrate in the dip. Look for them In the spice section of your grocery store.
