Bright Ideas

  • I think some of these are very clever! The cord wrapper is fabulous! And my baby silicone spatulas for small spots badly need replacing. I adore them and looked on Amazon but couldn’t find what I wanted. Thanks for those suggestions.

  • Hi. I have a question. That was a good tip about the makeup brushes for $5. I was wondering about the swivel container that the brushes were in.

  • Great ideas. I love the purse organizer. I basically use a tote for my work purse. It’s such a bottomless pit. Can you buy the drain covers in stores. I was showing it to my mom. My brother in law had gotten me one of those devices for removing hair only I injured myself on the sharp edge. Our drain had been slow because our tub has no drain cover. My mom of course pointed out the gob of dark hair that he pulled. I was embarrassed.

  • Jillee……really? An egg separator? Why buy one when you have the egg shell to use? Many years ago my mom taught all of us daughters how to separate the yolk from the white using just the shell. No device needed! No shipping! No handling! And you always have the shell!

  • Great ideas, Jillie! As usual! Awhile back I bought some Cleaning Compound Gel, it is like slime. It cleans and kills bacteria etc. I use it on my lap top at least once a week. I won’t mention the name or where I nought it, as there may be product issues with who you are working, If you are interested let me know Jillie and I will give you the details, I did not see it on Amazon, and I am a Prime member.

  • I ordered the trash bag holder, and the part that fits over your cabinet door is SO narrow that I couldn’t use it on my cabinets. The company wouldn’t take it back and return postage was more than the object.

    • Too bad it doesn’t come with an adjustable mechanism. For different width doors, or a clamp to attach it to a table. I was just thinking it would be great to use while sewing for scraps and threads. Is the piece that goes on the door removable? if it is I know my hubby could think of a way to rig it.

    • I have a plastic tool that is shaped to fit the jar to get the last of the mayo out but don’t remember where I got it. I have had it for a long time.
