How To Empty Soda Into Your Fridge In Record Time
Boxes can be a barrier to efficient refrigerator organization, so I wanted to figure out how to empty soda into the fridge in a quick, easy, and box-less way. Because when you put the whole box in the fridge, it will always take up the same amount of valuable refrigerator real estate, no matter how many cans you take out of it!
For a long time, I just took the cans out of the box one or two at a time and put them on the refrigerator shelf, but I was sure there had to be a quicker way. Luckily, I eventually learned about this 12 pack hack that makes putting soda in the fridge so much faster!
With Independence Day barbecues coming up, I’m sure many of us will be stocking up on soda for our guests soon. What better time to share this brilliant, time-saving fridge tip with you? to get all those cans in the fridge in a jiffy. Once you’ve tried this, you’ll never go back to the way you did it before.

12 Pack Hack: How To Empty Soda Into The Fridge Fast
While I’m demonstrating this hack with a 12 pack of Diet Coke, my preferred canned drink, it will also work with just about any box of canned beverages, from sparkling water to canned juices. And it’s not just for 12 packs either — if you have a box of uniformly-sized drinks, this tip will help you get them into your fridge fast!
1. Open One End Of The Box
Open one end of the box, but keep the other end closed for now.
2. Position The Box On Your Fridge Shelf
Take the box to your refrigerator and prop the open end on the shelf where you want the soda to go. Slide the box into the fridge until about three-quarters of it is resting on the shelf.
3. Open The Box At The Other End
Open the other end of the box, then slide it to box back until all of rests on your fridge shelf.
4. Empty The Soda Into The Fridge
Finally, hold your hand against the cans while sliding the box out of the refrigerator (and onto your arm). Keep sliding the box out until all cans are IN the fridge and box is OUT. That’s it — you’ll be done in 10 seconds or less!
Whether you’re having a Super Bowl party, graduation party, 4th of July bash, or a family get-together, you’ll have a quick way to load your fridge up with cold drinks, sans the bulky, half-empty boxes. (Whether you drink those sodas as-is or use them to make dirty Diet Coke is up to you!)
