I’ve had my Instant Pot for a few months now, and I can honestly say that I don’t think I’ve ever loved another kitchen appliance quite so much! I use it at least once a week, and I often end up using it more often than that. My love for the Instant Pot might be verging on obsession at this point, however. I keep catching myself thinking about buying a second one!
The two things I love most about the Instant Pot are how fast it is, and how easy it is to use. I can toss some white rice and a bit of water into the pot, and I know I’ll have perfectly cooked and fluffy rice on the dinner table in minutes. It’s the perfect kitchen gadget for anyone with a busy and hectic schedule. (Or anyone who doesn’t want to be chained to the stove in order to make dinner!)
Over the past few months I’ve been cooking a lot of different kinds of foods in my Instant Pot. But recently I started noticing similarities in many of the cooking instructions. You can toss most foods into the pot with a bit of water, and then you just need to know how long to cook it for. So I started writing down how many minutes different foods take to cook in the pot. Eventually the list started getting pretty long, and that’s when I knew it was time to share it with all of you!
Today I’m excited to share a FREE downloadable PDF based on my personal list of Instant Pot cooking times. This printable lists the cooking times for several common food items, as well as other relevant information you might need (these cooking times will work regardless of the size of your Instant Pot). This printable would look great on your countertop in a pretty frame! And if that’s not your style, just tape it up inside one of your cupboards for easy reference. I printed out two copies – one for my kitchen, and one for the kitchen at the OGT studio.
