Jillee’s Top 6 Gift Picks From Oprah’s Favorite Things

In the first image, a person is wrapping gifts—some of their favorite things—under a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. In the second image, they proudly display these wrapped treasures beside the glowing tree.

One of my favorite places to look for holiday gift-giving inspiration is Oprah’s annual Favorite Things list. Her list always includes a wide variety of gift-worthy items that are either stylish, luxurious, or handmade (or all of the above!)

After perusing Oprah’s Favorite Things 2024, I thought it might be fun to highlight the items I found most enticing or appealing. You could reasonably refer to the list below as “Jillee’s Favorite Things from Oprah’s Favorite Things 2024!”

Jillee’s Top 6 Gift Ideas From Oprah’s Favorite Things 2024

A black boot with white fur, a green textured blanket, and a red and blue inflatable pool float are among my favorite things.

1. Sole Bliss Wonder Boots

Winter is a gorgeous season here in the Wasatch Mountains, but it turns our steep driveway into treacherous terrain that requires serious winter footwear. I tend to dislike the look of most winter boots, but think these Wonder Boots from Sole Bliss are darling! The shearling lining looks cozy and the leather is sure to last.

2. Pine Cone Hill Fab Faux Throw

No one who knows me well will be surprised to see a faux fur throw blanket on this list, because I almost always have one on my lap when I’m hanging out at home. Available in Mineral, Olive, and Sand colors, this “faux throw” would make a fine addition to my collection.

3. Funboy Inflatable Retro Snowmobile Sled

How cute is this inflatable sled? It has a fun retro snowmobile look and will surely carry your little thrill-seekers down the local sledding hill at suitably dangerous speeds. Bonus points if Dad or Grandpa is a snowmobile guy — the kiddos will love having a sled just like his!

A yellow popcorn maker, a brown pillowcase with packaging, and a box of assorted chocolates—these favorite things are sure to bring joy and comfort.

4. The Popsmith Popper

Fellow popcorn lovers, assemble! This stovetop popcorn popper may not come cheap, but it would surely look great in your kitchen. The built-in spinner promises evenly cooked popcorn with no unpopped kernels, and its roomy 6-quart capacity means it may even make enough to share!

5. Grace & Company Silky Satin Pillowcase

My frizz-prone hair only becomes more unmanageable when our furnace is running all day and night, so I need all the help I can get! Satin pillowcases generate less friction for smoother hair, and they’re supposed to be good for sensitive skin, too. Even better, this Grace & Company model has a hidden zipper so it stays put instead of sliding off your pillow.

6. Chocolate Therapy Trio Nut Bark

All my favorite sweets are a little bit salty or savory, so this nut bark trio is right up my alley. This collection features milk chocolate with cashews, dark chocolate with almonds, and white chocolate with pistachios. If a gift like this seems too simplistic, ask yourself: would you feel underwhelmed if someone gave you a box of artisan chocolate bark? I rest my case.

Where do you turn for holiday gift-giving inspiration?
