March is here, and I couldn’t be more excited about it! It means spring is finally on its way, and I am so ready for warmer weather. I’ve already come down with a serious case of Spring Fever, so I just need the weather to catch up! ;-) All I want is to throw my windows open and let in some fresh air, but it’s still a bit too cold for that!

March 7th is National Cereal Day! You’re likely to find sale prices on cereals in stores, so it’s a great time to stock up. And you can save even more money on your favorite breakfast cereals by using manufacturer coupons as well! Look for cereal coupons at Coupons.com and in your local papers.

2. Snacks & Sodas

The NCAA Basketball Tournament (commonly referred to as March Madness) is this month! That’s good news not only for basketball fans, but for fans of good deals too! Grocery stores are likely to offer low prices on watch party essentials like veggie trays, chips, wings, sodas, crackers, and more.

And keep your eyes peeled for peel-off coupons on snack items as well! You can stack them with store coupons at certain stores and save even more money.

  • We don’t have these “days” in the U.K., I’m being very cynical and thinking that they’re thought up by the manufacturers to make us go out and buy their products! I love crisps (chips) and buy them occasionally, my problem is that the healthier versions are not as tasty!
