While I do enjoy dressing up for Halloween parties and community activities, I’ve never been a fan of scary movies. So while many people would be happy to spend Halloween night in watching movies that range from spooky to terrifying, that’s not my idea of a good time!
If you’ve been following my newsletter over the past year or so, you’ll know that my favorite movie genre is romantic comedies. I’ve written about many of my all-time favorite rom-coms across several installments in my newsletter, and it recently occurred to me that I could use those lists for another inspired purpose.
Introducing My Rom-Com Checklist Printable
I made a list of all the rom-coms I’ve mentioned in my newsletter over the past year, filled in a few of the gaps, and assembled it all into the ultimate “rom-com checklist.” Featuring 37 romantic comedies released over 4 decades, this checklist is a veritable who’s-who of romantic, moving, and gut-bustlingly funny films.
Whether you want to choose a few of them for a movie marathon, or work your way through the list gradually, this checklist will make it easy to revisit some of your favorite rom-coms.
Where Can I Stream The Movies?
To find out which streaming services have these movies available, try looking them up on JustWatch.com. In the event that a movie isn’t available on any streaming service you’re subscribed to, the listing will also tell you if it’s available to rent online and for what price.
For example, if I wanted to watch Splash, I could look it up on Just Watch and find out that it’s available to stream on Disney+. (If I didn’t have Disney+, I could also rent the movie on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, or Google Play for $3.99.)

Download your copy of the checklist below, then grab some popcorn and curl up on the couch with your significant other for a cozy night in. Consider this a Halloween treat from me to you—no tricks here!

What’s your favorite romantic comedy?
How about this very romantic movie “A Walk in the Clouds” (Keanu Reeves is great!) Also Wild Mountain Thyme (Emily Blount, Jamie Dornan and John Hamm) is a beautiful Irish filmed love story. Can’t leave out “Pride and Prejudice” with Kiera Knightly and Matthew McFadyen, and of course the timeless and beautifully filmed movie, Romeo and Juliet with Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting.
